Starting a language diary!
先ごろ自分の日本語の日記を始めました!この日記に私の漢字れんしゅうとかそのテーム書くつもりです。
Hello! I wonder if I wrote that correctly (if not, do correct me!). What I said up there (or tried to say lol) is that I've recently started a Japanese language diary! In this diary I plan to write about my study of Kanji. And hopefully this will motivate me to study more Kanji and more Japanese, since I have to admit, the lack of having people to practice languages with sometimes makes feel little demotivated.
In a language diary you can practice writing in that language, reading, and even learn new words as you may want to write about a topic for which you may not know which words to use in that language yet! You can also read what you're writing out loud, and this way practice speaking in that language as well.
You don't need to know too many words in new language to start a diary; just write with the words you know, and any new words you acquire. I think this can be helpful to gain more vocabulary and to really learn the vocabulary and feel it natural.
I will also be starting one in French soon. I currently know too little French to form sentences that go beyond the very basic, but as long as I can form a sentence I believe it is enough.
Thank you for reading my blog! Share in the comments if you've started a diary in your new language(s) and how it's going for you! Also if you plan on starting one, and then, do tell me how it goes. :)
